Savigny-Les-Beaune Premier Cru "Les Lavières" 2020

With its deep ruby color, our Savigny-Les-Beaune Premier Cru "Les Lavières" 2020 has a perfumed nose with notes of blueberry, redcurrant and lavender. The rich and elegant palate unveils soft but present tannins. This Pinot Noir will become even more powerful over the years.

Situated in the picturesque valley of Savigny-Les-Beaune, "Les Lavières" is a Premier Cru plot facing south. The vineyard's name comes from "les laves" which are thin, flat stones that can be found in the limestone-rich soils, offering ideal conditions for the Pinot Noir to grow powerful and fleshy.

Organic certified (AB). Hand-harvested organic grapes, hand-sorted on a vibrating table. 70% whole-cluster, placed into stainless steel fermentation vats by gravity flow. Weeks-long maceration, minimal pumping-over and punching-down. Pressing in pneumatic press. Placed in French oak barrels for aging on fine lees. Light filtration before bottling.
